Instrument Reservation System
The SIF utilizes a scheduler system called Booked Scheduler. This system is used for reserving and tracking usage on each of the instruments for charging purposes. Each user has access to their approved list of charging accounts/abbrevs and must select a Project Abbrev at the time of reservation. If your project abbrev is not listed in your approved list, you will need to request permission by completing one of the following forms.
If your sample has changed, please complete the Request Additional Sample Set form and include the new sample and project id/worktag information in your request.
If the sample is remaining the same but the project id/worktag has updated, please complete the Request Additional Charging Account form.
- Time will be reserved in 1/2 hour increments
- The microscopes are available on a first come, first serve basis when not reserved.
- A maximum of 4 sessions can be reserved at any one time for future work.
If you are unable to check into your reservation on Booked Scheduler, please reach out to SIF staff for assistance. Your usage should be documented in the General Logbook located at the front desk.
If you forget to check out of your reservation on Booked Scheduler, please email Danielle Tiarks at dtiarks@ameslab.gov to notify her of your end time.
Any questions should be sent to sif@ameslab.gov
